Success Criteria for A – C grade candidates for today’s lesson will be able to give a basic account of how games were organised and promoted. Will be able to define what constitutes an amateur and professional will be able to link promoting and organisation to the characteristics of public schools and trace the influences of the development of sport throughout. Will be able to apply amateur and professional status to today's sporting world will be able to compare and contrast the technical and moral developments of the public school sport and recreation with today’s sport and rec. Will be able to identify the change in amateurs and professionals since the 19th century
