SN2 is mixture of liquid nitrogen and solid nitrogen particles. SN2 has advantages as a refrigerant for HTS materials. (1) Due to the latent heat of melting solid nitrogen, SN2 has a greater heat capacity than LN2. (2) HTS materials in SN2 can operate stably around 63 K, as SN2 keeps the temperature at 63 K. We set up a SN2 circulation system and succeeded the SN2 flowing.
