How did humans impact their environment? By Christian Almodovar
intro In the ancient world several different cultures changed the environment. Like the Romans, Mesopotamian's , and early man.
After Glacier age • Cut down trees to make space for cities • Irrigation is more used making land to wet and fall into the water • Increase in population
Early man Starting fire • Makes forest fires if incontrollable • Fires will kill animals • Less wood
Early farmers Irrigation • Wets land to much (negative) • Less floods (negative)or(positive) • Lets water to areas that didn't have it (positive)
Mesopotamia • Building made less mug • Irrigation changed river flow • Cutting down trees to makes boats
Egypt • Irrigation and dams stop the flood of the Nile River • Cutting papyrus to make boats and paper • Tools made it easier to kill animals and killing to many animals may led to expiating
Greece • Killing to many animals to make wools, hides • Using natural resources to make tools • Using oils to made for from plants
Rome • Made buildings out of stone • Killed animals for entertainment • Made roads and sewers
Conclusion This is some of the ways ancient civilization changed the world. Other civilizations also changed the world like the native Americas by digging to build and to make weapons. But today we change the environment more because we put gases in the air, cut trees more and many others.
