Who is Oaks Family Care Center?

  1. Who is Oaks Family Care Center? We will help men and women understand their options so they can make educated decisions regarding life issues.

  2. Where is Oaks Family Care Center? Families from Medina County are the primary beneficiaries from the Oaks.

Isaiah 61: 2-4 (Founding Scripture) “…and provide for those who grieve in Zion - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. “

  5. What Type of Programs Offered • Pregnancy Services (offered at no charge) • We provide material, emotional and spiritual support for women and men concerned about pregnancy issues and/or their life style. • Home loss, parenting classes

  10. Our Staff provides assistance to more than 1,600 families and individuals each year. In a typical year, we connect with these families more than 6,000 times during our programs. It is our policy to never turn anyone away from the services they need.

  11. Free Support When people feel overwhelmed and hopeless, they often make choices that lead to regret and guilt later in life. The Oaks staff and volunteers help women better understand the options available for their situation. We also help them to carefully consider the affects of their choices on their futures. Our services take a holistic approach that includes support in the following areas: Emotional - counseling and individual support. Physical - clothing and food Spiritual - bible studies and referrals to churches

  12. Support and Education Brunswick Oaks provides crisis intervention and support to help expectant mothers with difficult decisions. These include: • Parenting vs. Adoption • Carrying to term vs. Abortion • Help overcoming a miscarriage • Post Abortion healing Education is provided on the emotional and physical long term affects of abortions. We believe in the sanctity of life. Whenever possible, spiritual guidance and support is also provided.

  14. Donor Accountability • Our ministry is able to provide services because churches accept us as a local mission. Financial accountability is strengthened through the active involvement of volunteers from local churches in our daily operations. Monies raised in our area are designated for programs and activities.

  15. Connecting Clients to Churches • We believe it is our responsibility to present the gospel to clients. Volunteers from local churches are then able to connect families with congregations that will encourage spiritual growth and development.
