November Title I ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES • Dennis Cormier Presentation at Parent Request – Communicating with Hard To Reach Teens • All Hands On Deck – Hands on math games for learning at home • November Common Table – Helping your child with the “new math” – the new common core standards • Fill Ms. DeRose’s Office with Food – A.D.O.M. Boxes emergency food pantry distributed • YMCA Giving Tree Signups

December Title I Engagement Events • Gallery Crawl & Expo of The Mind Arts • YMCA Giving Tree Distributions • Second Annual Underwear Ride to Benefit Middle School Migrant/Homeless Families • Notification of High Performing Reward School Status • Notification of SchoolWide Title I Funding for 2013-2014 School Year

January Title I Engagement Events • Spilotto – Science/Pizza/Lotto – Common Core in Science and help with Learning at Home • GED Classes begin at LMMS in partnership with Literacy Forsyth • January Common Table – Get the Scoop on Report Cards and Peer Pressure over “Not Being Smart” (parent requested session) • Focus Group Meetings begin (7 member team) for SWP development • Final preparations for State Audit of Title I Documentation
