  3. Current use of SM for KM cont.. • Should it sometimes happen that you want to share some of the useful information to increment the knowledge in your basket, you can logon to social media and hold discussions and share ideas.

  4. Current use of SM for KM cont.. • In virtual worlds ,Microblogs are the best to facilitate communication. Taking into consideration that there is different information that one might need to obtain, therefore the current use of social media for KM is also powerful in virtual worlds.

  5. Current use of SM for KM cont.. • Microblogs are easy to use ,thus this is helpful in Knowledge Management in today’s world. Being easy to use ,this capability helps collecting or sharing information for Knowledge Management be very effective.

  7. Future potential of using SM for KM • There is going to be an adoption of new KM,that is Knowledge Management 3.0.This implies that Social Media will be expected to upgrade from what it is to today to a next level.

  8. Future potential of using SM for KM cont... • I think all the problems that are with the Social media will be resolved in the near future. Example ,there must be the adjustment on the number of characters ,since participating people are always complaining about the limitation of characters.

Future potential of using social media for KM cont... • All the information posted on microblogs is usually not 100% trusted, simply because there is no auditing done on a post before it is posted, so I think in future there is going to be standards to ensure that the information sent on microblogs is always correct. This will help people collecting information for KM be able to rely on it.

  11. Conclusion • I think all the weaknesses that microblogs have when collecting information for Knowledge Management must be solved in a near future. • I would say that all the disadvantages with microblogs will be solved,so that there will be no problems with KM.
