  2. Academic Standards • Standards are statements that help students understand what they need to be doing. • Also shows what they can do upon instruction on a class topic.

  3. Goals of the Fine Arts • Students will be able to use the standards in arts to think and learn independently. • They must be immersed in numerous opportunities to learn about, perform, create, and evaluate the fine arts.

  4. Goals of the Fine Arts • Students should communicate in and through the arts. • This can help develop one’s artistic skills. • Students can becomecreative problem solvers in many diffrent things.
