  4. Developing detail – What? How? Why? Do you want to be living in a world which is suffocating in plastic? Recycling is essential to protect the future of our children, our grandchildren and our planet. Firstly, there are small changes that we can all make to our own lives which will make a massive difference. What? How? Why? As well as personal changes, changes need to be made on a wider level to force lazy people who still can’t be bothered to recycle. What? How? Why?

  5. Developing detail Make your point and then ask yourself: What? How? Why? Do you want to be living in a world which is suffocating in plastic waste? Recycling is something we all need to do for the future of our children, our grandchildren and our planet. Firstly, we all need to take responsibility for changing our own lifestyles. What? Even making small changes such as washing out plastic bottles to reuse them or saving carrier bags to use again can make a huge difference. How? Getting into good habits can help make this easier, so that instead of using the bin, you get used to Why? If we don’t start making these changes, we will soon find ourselves facing a shortage of resources and a shortage of landfill space. Landfill sites are bursting at the seams. As well as changing personal habits, something needs to be done to force people who still insist on being lazy into recycling. What? One suggestion would be charging people for the amount of rubbish they dispose of. How? This charging system would work by weighing people’s bins when they were collected and adding a charge per kg to their council tax bill. Why?
