  1. Sintered Filters Sintered filters are used in a wide range of industrial applications. Their main purpose is to eliminate dust particles, water droplets, and moisture from compressed air. They are made of a mixture of metal and ceramic that can be manufactured through sintering or hot-pressing processes. Sintered filters have several advantages over pleated filters: they require less space in the filter housing, they have higher efficiency rates for removing particulates (up to 99%), and they have lower pressure drop characteristics so there is less loss of flow rate through them, which means higher power consumption for fans required in order to overcome this loss; lastly, because sintered filters do not contain any fibrous materials like paper or cardboard like pleated ones do - there is no chance for any foreign objects breaking off into your system! www.deltafilters.com
