How do clouds form? • 1. Warm air rises and cools • 2. Water vapor is added to the air. • 3. Air eventually becomes saturated. • 4. Water vapor condenses on smoke, dust, salt, and other small particles_high in the air. • 5. Millions of droplets of liquid water collect to form a cloud.

Cloud Project • 1. Cut out the 6 clouds, staple 2 blue sheets of paper together • 2. Use page 41 in your book as a guideline and label the height (altitude) on the right hand side of your paper. • 3. Glue the clouds in the correct altitude. • 4. Add lightning to the cloud that may produce thunderstorms, also shade in the cloud that may be gray because it produces rain. • 5.
