Fieldwork Temperature of the Places (14th Jan/15th Jan)
Post-Fieldwork Temperature of the Places through Ranking 1. Running Track(F) 2. Top floor of Multistorey Carpark(A) & Terraces(D) 4. Field(E) 5. Fountain area outside General Office(G) 6. Open space between canteen and Block C(C) 7. Garden outside printing centre(B)
Post-Fieldwork Concrete area vs. Non-concrete area The average temperature of concrete area is not higher than that of non-concrete area.
Conclusion • Our hypothesis is rejected. • The rejection might be due to multiple errors caused during the experiment, such as not measuring the temperature as the same point at each location during the two measurements. • We believe that the result will probably be more reliable if the temperature is taken at the same time.
