“Not Bought in Ohio” Project:Yankee Book Peddler • YBP developed a mechanism within the GOBI system to track books not purchased within Ohio • Lists can be created, stored/saved, and reviewed for purchase • Art/Arch. Group members review NB lists & make purchases Is the OhioLINK collection as broad as it should be?
What’s In YBP Books Not Bought? • Monthly lists: titles not bought 6 months ago • About 25 titles per list
“Not Bought in Ohio” Project:Worldwide Books • Foreign publications, museum publications—many presses not covered by YBP • 6 OhioLINK Libraries have approval plans w/ WWB • WWB set up a fund code for un-bought items; Art/Arch. Group members can use the fund code to create lists in particular areas Is the OhioLINK collection as broad as it should be?

Journal Coverage for Titles in Art Abstracts • Reviewing periodical holdings to ensure coverage of titles indexed in AA. • 876 Titles total (not all current). • Students at U. Cincinnati will be working on this project.
Future Projects… • Better coverage of foreign titles • Work with OP book dealers to expand acquisition of important OP materials • Expand coverage of non-western art • Consider ways to develop special loans of our specialized collections • Cooperative collection development of artists’ books • Digital projects for the OhioLINK DMC
