How to Read a Surcharge in RateWave’s format ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (1) (2) (3) (4) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Index Number – Surcharge Name : We try to use the numbers and the names assigned by the Vessel Operator. Vessel Operator’s Name : The name of the Vessel Operator for which the surcharge applies. Trade Lane : Origin to Destination – U.S. imports and exports ONLY. Report Date : This is the date RateWave last updated the data for that surcharge. We update surcharges only as they are changed by the Vessel Operator. Thus, if the Report Date is in the past, it indicates that the Vessel Operator has not filed any changes to this surcharge in its Tariff since that date. If you believe there is a discrepancy, please let us know and we will immediately review the Vessel Operator’s Tariff to ensure our Report is accurate.* *At this time, RateWave reviews every surcharge in our database once a week.
How to Read a Surcharge in RateWave’s format Applicable Origin/Destination for the Surcharge EFFECTIVE DATES and EXPIRATION DATES, when applicable, are taken from the Vessel Operator’s tariff.
