  2. 2 Corinthians 12:15(KJV) And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved. 

  3. 2 Corinthians 6:11(KJV) O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. 

  4. 2 Corinthians 7:4(KJV) Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

  5. 2 Corinthians 10:1-2(KJV) Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:  2But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. 

  6. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5(KJV) And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.  2For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.  3And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.  4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

  13. 1 Timothy 4:12(KJV) Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 

  14. 2 Timothy 1:5(KJV) When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

  15. 2 Timothy 3:15(KJV) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 

  16. 1 Timothy 6:11-12(KJV) But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.  12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

  18. 1 Timothy 6:20(KJV) O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: 

  19. 1 Timothy 1:18(KJV) This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; 

  20. 1 Timothy 4:13-16(KJV) Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.  14Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.  15Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.  16Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Apollos v.12 • Personality: Strong leader, Eloquent teacher • Response: well received • Caution: Platform ministry is no replacement for loving people.
