What is antimatter? • Antimatter is composed of antiparticles. Antiparticles have the same mass that normal particles do, but antiparticles have opposite charge and quantum spin
What is antimatter used for? • If a particle and its antimatter particle meet, they annihilate, creating pure energy that follows Einstein’s equation E=mc2. In theory, antimatter can be used to create the purest energy in the universe.
Why is antimatter such a useful fuel? • It converts all of its mass into pure energy with no waste, 100%. In comparison, rocket fuel become 95% waste and only 5% energy.
