Academic Team Any 9-12 student interested in joining the Academic Team, please see Mrs. Reid as soon as possible. The first practice will be held Monday, August 26 at 3:15 in Mrs. Reid’s room.
CHOIR For any student wishing to be a part of choir BEFORE school, there will be a meeting Wednesday, August 21 at 8:00 am. We will be planning practice times and getting more information. If you are interested in being part of the choir AFTER school, practices will begin August 21, 3:30-4:30. If you have questions and can’t make it to either of these meetings, please see Mrs. Lee as soon as possible.
BLOOD DRIVE American Red Cross will be in the Elementary Gym Friday, August 23. Collection times are 11 am – 4pm. Consent forms are hanging on the STUCO bulletin board. Make sure to encourage everyone to attend. A scholarship will be awarded to one of our seniors if we can meet our goal!
Lockers All empty lockers (according to the locker sign-up sheets) will be locked beginning Friday, August 23. If you are using a locker that has not been assigned to you, move your stuff immediately!
Softball The Lady Eagles Softball Team will hold their open practice Thursday, August 22 from 4:30-6:30. They are requesting that you bring gatorade or water to the practice for use throughout the season. Softball Jamboree will be held at Pierce City Saturday, August 24. They will play at 10 am and 11 am against Pierce City and Southwest.
Volleyball Open practice will be held tonight from 5-7 for the Lady Eagles Volleyball team. It is open for anyone wishing to attend. Gatorade or “mint” gum is requested for your entry. The Volleyball Jamboree will be held at Purdy Monday, August 26 beginning at 4 pm. Admission to these games will be $2 for adults and $1 for students.
