MEETINGS DAY!!!!! 1ST HOUR: Spanish Club 2nd hour: youth alive – elementary gym Musical cast – Mrs. Lee’s room (last ½) 3rd hour: prom committee NHS – Mrs. Reid’s room 4th hour: FBLA Speech & debate 5th hour: Seniors (first half) 6th hour: STUCO Academic Team 7th hour: FFA – cafeteria Europe trip – library FCCLA 2:45: Art club – elementary library

  3. TALENT SHOW • Any student interested in being part of the Talent Show, please sign up on Mrs. Lee’s door with your name, event and audition time and date. • Deadline to audition is October 4. • This is open to anyone for any talent. • If you have questions, please see Mrs. Lee ASAP!

  4. Cost: $12 (youth small-adult XL) $14 (adult 2XL and up) **Order by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4!** PINK OUT FBLA & the Lady Eagles Volleyball are promoting the annual Pink Out game for Breast Cancer Awareness. The game will be held Oct. 17 against SW. To help you “Get your Pink On and help “Pink out the School” we are offering a limited edition of the 2014 Pink Out shirt. Get your orders in by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4 to Ms. Wright, Mica or Mrs. Romine.

  5. FBLA FBLA meeting – Wednesday, 4th hour. Members need to pay $15 dues or sign up to work concession stand. FBLA shirts are $10. Orders need to be turned in by Thursday, October 3.

  6. FFA Fruit/Meat/Cookie/Seasonings order forms are due ASAP!!! $100 will be awarded to the person with the highest fruit sales! Farm Fest is Friday. We will be leaving at 8:30 am. You must have sold $350 in fruit or paid your dues to attend.

  7. Spanish Club Spanish Club members: Have you paid your dues to come to Wednesday’s meeting? Are you working on your hours for a t-shirt or to get your 5 hours of community service before the November meeting?

  9. STOP! Don’t throw away the pop tab! FCCLA is collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Help families with hospitalized children stay together. You may drop off pop tabs in the FACS room, #13.

  11. 2013 YEARBOOKS HURRY! Only a few 2012-2013 yearbooks are left! Get yours now in the high school office $35

  12. Halloween Dance Start making plans now for the Student Council -sponsored Halloween Dance scheduled for October 24.

  14. Get ready for the October ACT Science ACT Prep!!! Friday mornings at 8 am Mrs. Reid’s room on the following dates: 10/4, 10/11. Easy ways to bump that science score up or to check out what the science section will be like!

  16. Academic Team The Academic Team will be practicing EVERY Monday at 3:15 in Mrs. Reid’s room.

  17. Youth Alive HS Youth Alive will meet Wednesdays in the HS computer lab.

  18. Tyler Jones has landed safely at Lackland Air Force Base to begin Basic Training. Many of you know that he has enlisted to serve our country for the next 8 years. If you would like to send him a card or note thanking him for his service, he would truly appreciate it and find it encouraging in the trying days ahead.
