Brief Background • The United States spends $2 trillion annually on healthcare, more than any other industrialized nation • 2010, Affordable Care Act (ACA) was signed by President Obama • Over the next four years 50.7 million Americans will be eligible for insurance – 140,000 in Oregon • As a result, Providence Medical Group is transforming into a Patient-Centered Medical Home

Research Questions • Does having an understanding of individual and team members’ leadership strengths improve team development? • Will team members find the Strengths Based Leadership training useful to their role and their team?
Methodology • Interviewed with Director, Manager and 3 Change Coaches • Organizational Development Analysis using CAP • Found a GAP in team building • Developed Training Curriculum • Experimented on 4 clinics • TDM measure & Team Evaluation Questionnaire used to test
