Feasibility Analysis • Project Statement: To explore opportunities to enhance the experience when attending events at Qualcomm stadium. • Objective: To provide wireless PDA service to the patrons of Qualcomm Stadium in order to allow patrons to access relevant information and have a more interactive experience. • Project Scope: complete by September 2003, within budget, online snack ordering, IM capabilities, online voting, real-time stats, instant replays

  4. Business Case • Qualcomm has 71,500 seats and 113 Executive Suites • By end of 2001, there 15 million end users of WIFI • Handheld market is supposed to grow by 14% by 2005 • Increased efficiency, time saving, and more snack orders

Project Design • Requirement Analysis • Deliverables are at the end of each testing cycle (Alpha, Beta, and Gold Master) and upon completion of the project all software and hardware will meet design specifications. • 802.11b wireless LAN • Multiple access points to cover entire stadium • Web-based software meets specifications/user needs • Support services for next 3 years upon completion
