SHSM - Business Interested students should attend TODAY’s information session and sign up for the program - AUDITORIUM AT LUNCH Required Courses for a SHSM in Grade 11: • 2 Grade 11 Business Studies Courses • 1 Math Course • Additional Requirements – 2 – 4 credits in Co-op (MUST BE COMPLETED AT Central Peel SS) * Will complete additional certifications throughout gr. 11

Things to Think About During Course Selection • With ‘Full Disclosure’, Universities and Colleges will receive all of your grade 11 course marks. • Plan to have all compulsory requirements done, except gr. 12 English, by the end of grade 11 - including Group 1, 2, and 3. • There is no pre-requisite for Arts courses, coded 3O0. ie. AWQ3O0, AVI 3O0, ADA 3O0 (ignore myblueprint message)
Myths Corrected • Universities DO NOT CARE whether you have extra college, open or workplace credits on your record – only that you have a minimum of 6 GRADE 12 U or M courses • RESEARCH pre-requisites for university/college: For example - many programs DO NOT require grade 12 math, whereas others require 2
