Directions for adding voice recording to PowerPoint slides • Record your voice reading the poem aloud • Click on INSERT tab • Click on SOUND • (tiny arrow for drop-down menu) • Select RECORD SOUND • Click on round red button to START recording • Click on square button to STOP • Click OK (you can move the icon whereever you want it to be- just select it and drag)

  3. Poem 1 • Paste in text of poem • Record your voice reading the poem aloud To make a prairie (1755)   by Emily Dickinson To make a prairie it takes a clover and one bee, One clover, and a bee. And revery. The revery alone will do, If bees are few.

  4. Poem 2 • Partner selects poem and records his/her voice reading a different poem.
