Texts for Each Grade • 6th Grade– Middle School Math Book 2 • 7th Grade– Middle School Math Book 3 • 8th Grade– Algebra 1(could be split over 2 years)
HOMEWORK • Given most nights. • 15-30 minutes • 5 points per assignment (1 point for checking odd answers at back of book) • One missed assignment per marking period is not penalized (but extra credit for doing all) • 20% of the grade is based on homework completion. • If absent, do assignment and show me the assignment upon completion.
TESTS • Occur every 3-4 sections of text • Email reminder sent in advance • Practice tests (typically 2 days before test) • Signed by parents • If a student scores below 75%, that grade can be improved to a 75% by doing all corrections.
HOME ACCESS CENTER (H.A.C.) • Updated within two school days of every test/quiz with two grades: 1. Homework grade for the section being tested 2. Test/Quiz grade (points)
