Several Misinterpretations of the Kingdoma. A synonymous time with the eternal state.b. A non-material or “spiritual” kingdom where God rules over the heads of men. c. Purely earthly, a political and social structure to be achieved by man. d. A nationalistic movement of Israel. e. Synonymous with the church, which becomes the kingdom. f. A manifestation of the universal sovereignty of God.
PostmillennialismEvery evil in the world would be corrected until Christ should have a spiritual reign over the earth and continue that reign for a thousand years, at which time His second advent would occur and He come back to set up the judgment and close the present order.
AmillennialismThe Millennium is in progress at the present time concurrent with the Church Age. The 1,000 years is symbolic. At the end of this Age, Christ will return in final judgment and establish a permanent physical reign.
Also Satan is currently bound and he has been prevented from “deceiving the nations” by preventing the spread of the gospel.
The correct interpretation is Premillenialism. a. The present age increases with evil and ends in judgment at the Second Advent of Christ.
b. At which time He will set up His kingdom and reign with righteousness for a thousand years.
b. At which time He will set up His kingdom and reign with righteousness for a thousand years. c. The Church will reign with Him as His Bride.
The Millennium is not heaven. It is characterized by a limited amount of evil which Christ the King will judge perfectly and immediately. Isa 11:1-16
