  2. The 2019 Distinguished Dissertation Award from Manhattanville College was given to Derek Schuelein, who also holds a doctorate in education.

  3. Derek Schuelein received a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University, and a master's from Lehman College, CUNY. In addition, he has certificates in school district leadership and building leadership.
