  2. Derek Schuelein is a professional high school educator with many years of experience. He has a professional certificate for school building leader and school district leader.

  3. Derek Schuelein did a bachelor’s in secondary education, social studies from Pennsylvania State University. He has a master’s degree from C.U.N.N.Y Lehman College in social studies education. Derek Schuelein has also done C.A.S from S.U.N.Y New Paltz in education administration.

  4. Derek Schuelein began his career as a social studies teacher at Jane Addams CTE High School in NYC DOE. He was a co-moderator of building with books and also conducted after-school and Saturday tutoring which shows his passion for teaching.

  5. Derek Schuelein has always loved teaching students and doing what is best in the interest of students. He was the assistant principal for Pupil Personnel Services from 2008 to 2011. He supervised support services and led the Instructional Support Team and RTI program.

  6. Derek Schuelein also worked hard to develop partnerships with PLATO Learning and Fordham University for online courses.
