  2. Derek Schuelein has been associated with the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and the New York State School Counselor Association (NYSSCA).

  3. Derek Schuelein was a social studies teacher at Jane Addams CTE High School in NYE DOE. Then he became the assistant principal of the same school. He is a passionate educator of social studies. He has been a panelist at Manhattanville College New Teacher Panel Discussion in 2017.

  4. As a assistant principal, Derek Schuelein implemented a credit recovery program for a blended learning system. He introduced the AP American Government class syllabus approved by the College board as well.

  5. Derek Schuelein joined Rye High School as a Principal in 2020. He is diligently focused on making the best curriculum and providing PD sessions in an online format. Derek Schuelein is a born leader in the education sector for development and improvement.
