Forecast summary October 27-28-29 • Winds • North east winds dominant over northern Maldives, South-east winds dominant at the equatorial region of Maldives at 1 km. • Northern east winds dominant at the surface while south east winds dominant at 3.5 km. • South Indian plume dominant source of pollutants • BC AOE comparable in magnitude to sulfate AOE on 27th, however, sulfate AOE is negligible on 28th . Contribution of OC AOE strongest over HCO • Marine layer O3 very clean over HCO and surrounding area.
