Types of Fiction Books • F – Fiction chapter book • E – Fiction picture book (Everybody) Pretend story which is at least half pictures and the pictures are needed to help tell the story Pretend story written in sections that are in order
Types of Fiction Books • 398.2 – Folk tale book Old storytelling stories from many cultures • 800s – Literature (808, 811 Poetry, Plays, Story Collections, Jokes, etc.) Poetry, plays, and story collections are forms of writing that are often fiction, but some are non-fiction.
