  1. Seventh Grade First Six Weeks Project Careers in Science

What You Will Do- • You will research five different science-related careers. • For each career, you will include the education required, job description, salary, work environment, and any other interesting information. • Each career will involve one of the following standards-based careers. Choose a different standard for each career. • You may include a specific person or be general.

  3. The Careers Must Involve- • Cells • Organs/organ systems • Exploring the inner earth • Earthquakes • Genetics • Geology • Mineralogy • Volcanoes • The environment • The study of speed/velocity • Mountains • Plate tectonics • Bioengineering

  4. The Fine Print • This project is due on or before Tuesday, September 18th. • It may be presented in any format, but no notebook paper is allowed. • This is a test grade. Remember that tests are 20% of your report card grade.

  5. Rubric: • 1 job-60 • 2 jobs-70 • 3 jobs-80 • 4 jobs-90 • 5 jobs-100 • 8 or more jobs-105
