My reasons of my exploration • I wanted to orbit the Earth and explore outer space because : I wanted to discover the Earth from Outer space (How does it look like the continents ,the mountains ,the sea ,etc) : I wanted to make a record, to do something no one had ever done before. I did this by becoming the first human ever to go into space. : I participated to be a cosmonaut because during my era, Russia and the U.S created a race called “The Space Race”.

  4. My Journey to Orbit Earth • On April 12 1961, my journey began by a rocket called Soyuz 1 and a space capsule Vostok1. I orbited Earth for 1 hour and 48 minutes, including the trip to outer space and the descending process back to Earth. When I was inside Vostok1, I observed the Earth from outer space. Through my small space ship window’s view, I saw mountains, oceans, the various continental positions ,etc.

  6. My Decending to Earth • 1.I entered the exosphere layer of the atmosphere. • 2.Vostok 1 lost contact with the control tower. • 3.Vostok 1’s body was burning. • 4.Vostok 1 launched the parachute at the altitude of 23,000 ft. • 5.Landed safely at South Russia near the border of Khazastan.

After Vostok 1 • After the Vostok 1 Mission I felt so excited because I got the experience to go to space, I knew then that I would become famous and get so many tributes and legacies such as: A statue of my figure :Silver coins that had the picture of my mission :Russian post stamp with my picture :I got the chance to be a leader
