1. 2007 PTA PowerPoint Template Guidelines
These PowerPoint Templates have been created to help make all PTA presentations consistent when being given by PTA volunteers and staff.
Arial Black is recommended for headlines (from 38 point to 50 point size depending on the number of words in your headline).
Arial is recommended for body copy (from 28 point to 36 point size depending on the amount of text).
Printing Handouts
Because the slides are in full color, but handouts will likely be photocopied in black and white, here are some printing guidelines:
1) In the Print dialog box, under “Print What” select Handouts. Be sure to select the number of slides that will show per page (the default is 6), but 3 slides per page is recommended so that attendees will have space for note taking.
2) Under “Color/Grayscale,” select “Color” even if you are printing to a Black and White printer. This setting will allow the slides to be output with white text on dark background. If printed “Grayscale,” the program automatically turns all text to black, making it difficult to read the text on some of the darker template backgrounds. 2007 PTA PowerPoint Template Guidelines
