ChangetheFreeSpaceto header.asm ThisFreespacemust be thesame of theDynamic Z
Putthe header.asm onthe “Sprites” folder of Romi’sspritetool
Load thePalette You can change a color withifyoumake “DoubleClick” onthe color.
SpritesSettings Withthisyou can set theSize and othersthings of thesprite.
Add a new Frame ToAdd a new frameyoumustputthename of theframe and click “AddFrame”
You can select a frame and deletewiththebutton “DeleteFrame” orChangeitsnamewith “ChangeName”
Add Tiles totheFrame Toadd tiles totheframeyoumustputthegraphics of theframeon “FrameExGFX”, selectthe tile and make “RightClick” ona position ontheGrid
You can use theAccuracy combo box tomoveorputthe tiles with more freely
Add a new animation Tocreateananimationyoumustmakesomething similar tocreate a frame.
“Continuous” makesthatyourspriterepeattheanimation. “Only Once” makesthatyouspritedon’trepeattheanimation.
AddFramestotheAnimation You can selecttheframes, set the time of theframe and clickthe “Add” buttontoadd a frameontheanimation.
WatchtheAnimation Clickthe “Show Animation” button. Hereyou can reproduce thecurrentanimation and addordeleteframes. Forthisalltheframesmusthave tiles and AlltheanimationsmusthaveFrames.
ExtractTheResources FirstSelectthe “Import GFX Mode” onthespriteSettings. Selectorcreate a folder click “accept”. Herewill be theresources of yoursprite (GFX, Palette,code)
Putthespritecode and GFX onthe “Sprites” folder of theRomi’sSpritetool and insertitontheRom.
Onthe “SpriteBin.asm” youmustputthename of thegraphics.binonthe INCBIN
ChangetheFreeSpace of the “SpriteBin.asm” and insertitonthe ROM. Then open the “Sprite.asm” and onthe top of the file Changethe !Bnk and !noBnk
The !Bnkwill be thefirst 2 numbers of theFreeSpace of the “SpriteBin.asm”. Example: !FreeSpace = $3F8000 !Bnk = #$3F
The !noBnkwill be thelast 4 numbers of theFreeSpace of the “SpriteBin.asm” + 8. Example: !FreeSpace = $3F8000 8000 + 8 = 8008 !noBnk = #$8008
Nowputthespritecodeonthe “Sprites” folder of theRomi’sspritetool and insertitonthe ROM.
Caution: Youcan’t use thistoolforspritesthatrequireda 30kb or more GFX. I willaddthisfeatureontheversion 0.3
