  2. To implement modern teaching techniques to improve students’ understanding of English Language. Long-term Goal

  3. To encourage students for teamwork as well as individual participation. • To upgrade use of efficient resources in the classroom. • To get students interested in learning by respecting and listening to everyone's views. Short-term Goals

  4. Instructional Strategies and Tasks • I will motivate students to form groups and discuss content that requires creativity. • I will provide students with chances to think and learn ‘out of the box’ • I will ask questions that would test the pool of ideas of a group, e.g. designing an advertisement. • I will allow students to use modern tools to simplify learning, e.g. use of electronic dictionary.

  5. Solutions to Anticipated Challenges Challenges Solutions • Headmistress may not approve of my new methods. • Some students may feel shy in group discussions. • Parents may show dissatisfaction. • I will show an outline of the plan to my Head and highlight the areas that need attention. • I will encourage random group formation to keep the situation unbiased. • I will have meetings with parents and illustrate the importance for a change.
