1. People Are More Important Than Things Genesis 1.1-2.3
2. Genesis 1.1-2 When God began to create heaven and earth, the earth was formless and void, with darkness over the deep and a great wind was sweeping over the water.
3. And God said, Let there be light! and there was light. Day 1: Genesis 1.3
4. God saw that the light was good. God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light, day and the darkness, night. And there was evening and there was morning, a first day. Day 1: Genesis 1.4-5
5. And God said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the water, and let it separate water from water. God made the expanse and separated the water that was under the expanse from the water that was above the expanse. And it was so. Day 2: Genesis 1.6-7

9. The earth brought out vegetation, plants yielding seeds of every kind, and trees of every kind bearing fruit with the seed in it. And God saw that this was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the third day. Day 3: Genesis 1.12-13
10. Day 4: Genesis 1.14-15 God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate day from night. Let them be as signs, seasons and for days and years. And let them be as lights in the expanse of the sky to shine on the earth. And it was so.
11. Day 4: Genesis 1.16-17 God made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the sky to shine on the earth
12. Day 4: Genesis 1.18-19 and to rule the day and the night, and to separate the light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.
13. Day 5: Genesis 1.20 God said, Let the water bring out swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.
14. Day 5: Genesis 1.21 God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that creeps, with which the water swarm, and every winged bird of every kind. And God saw that it was good.
15. Day 5: Genesis 1.22-23 God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, fill the water in the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth. And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.
16. Day 6: Genesis 1.24-25 God said, Let the earth bring out every kind of living creature: cattle and creeping things and wild animals of the earth of every kind. And it was so. God made the wild animals of the earth of every kind and the cattle of every kin and everything that creeps on the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good.
17. Day 6: Genesis 1.26-27 Then God said, Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness, and let them rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the cattle, the whole earth, and all the creeping things that creep on the earth. And God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
18. Day 6: Genesis 1.28 God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and master it; and rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky and the living things that creep on the earth.
19. Day 6: Genesis 1.29-30 God said, hinneh I have given you every seed-bearing plant that is on all the earth, and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit; they shall be yours for food. And to all animals on the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on earth, in which there is the breath of life . . . all the green plants for food. And it was so.
20. And God saw all that he had made, and hinneh it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. Day 6: Genesis 1.31
21. Day 7: Genesis 2.1-2 The heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts. On the seventh day God completed his work that he had been doing, and he ceased on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.
22. Day 7: Genesis 2.3 God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God ceased from all the work that he had done in creation.
