  2. It Doesn’t Make Financial Sense Gain Experience In The Workplace You Can Gain Qualifications In Other Ways Be Yourself! Here are some reasons why college really isn’t for everyone.

  3. It Doesn’t Make Financial Sense The majority of College students graduate with upwards of $20000 of student loans and if they gain employment realistically expect to earn less than $25000 per year starting out.

  4. It Doesn’t Guarantee You A Job Most graduates that don’t learn specific skills are more likely to flounder in the jobs market or end up working in careers completely unrelated to their degrees.

  5. Gain Experience In The Workplace Having your degree may get you a second glance from your prospective employer, but you could just as well have landed that entry level position right out of High School and worked your way up, gaining valuable experience and insight in the four years it took you to go to College.

  6. You Can Gain Qualifications In Other Ways Alternatives include trade apprenticeships, part-time online courses, and even careers in the armed forces.

  7. Be Yourself! Enhance your skills as a creative, innovative individual and become your own boss. There are plenty more reasons not to go to College, but these five reasons should give you plenty of food for thought when thinking of what to do after High School.
