How to Do It • 10-20-30 rule • 10 slides • 20 minutes • 30 point font • Walk a mile in their shoes • Know your audience
How To Do It • Create your “promise” to deliver • 15 word summary of your presentation • Opening statement • Be early for set up – test technology
How To Do It State your “promise” up front Involve the audience immediately Thank each participant who shares Slow down – make eye contact Key points – don’t read slides Share personal stories Project your voice
