Math Workshop: ~ I can count to ten. ~ I can identify a square, rectangle. ~ I can identify a circle & hexagon. Reading Workshop: ~ I can identify parts of a book. ~ I can identify the Author & Illustrator. ~ I can identify Title & Title Page. Skills Block (Phonics): ~ I can read the sight words. ~ I can identify the sound of “D”. ~ I can print upper & lowercase letter “Dd” Classroom Happenings: Field Trip – Our Downtown Danville Field Trip has been rescheduled for this Friday. We are going to wear black. Please have your child wear a black shirt or sweatshirt. Our schedule: 9:00 – Community Arts Center 9:45 – City Hall 10:30 – Fire Station 11:15 – Library 12:00 – Lunch at Constitution Square 1:00 – Millennium Park – Ambulance/recess Come join us if you can! Read “Take Home Book” night. 3. Read ABC linking chart nightly. 4. Bring something to share from your parents job. Ex: If parent works at McD’s – bring in a happy meal toy. If parent stays home & does laundry all day – bring in a dirty sock ! Be creative!!!
