  3. Setting • The setting is in Texas, in a field, at a river, and at their house.

  4. summary Old yeller is a great book. It is about a dirty dog named old yeller. The little boy Arliss wants to keep him, but Travis his older brother, doesn’t. Soon enough they keep him. He becomes part of the family, and they had many adventures. But in the ending they shoot old yeller, and he dies.

  5. Problem and solution!! Old Yeller had rabbies. So Travis had to shoot him. Even though arliss wanted him. I don’t want the dog. I want the dog.

  6. climax • The climax for Old yeller is he becomes part of the family, and gets bitten by a wolf.

  8. I Give Old Yeller **** Stars Because…… It was a great book, even though it was kind of sad. It was one of the best books I ever read. You should read it.
