Childhood Ignacy Jan Paderewski’s father really cared about the development of his son’s musical abilities. The future pianist was a lonely child, he could only play with his sister, Antonina.

His first love Antonina Korsakówna was Paderewski’s first wife. She died shortly after their son’s birth.
