PELI Training Series Training series – a series of nineresearch based modules in a “trainer-of-trainers” format. Topics include: Parent Engagement: Keys to Student Success Positive Parenting in Public Education Communicating Volunteering Learning at Home Decision Making Collaborating with the Community Connecting the Dots Action Teams for Partnerships
PELI Module #9: Action Teams for Partnerships • Organize a goal linked program of school, family, and community partnerships for successful schools and successful students using the framework of Six Types of Involvement. • Developa research-based partnership program by selecting parent involvement practices that support the school site goals, formingan Action Team for Partnerships, and solving challenges to involve family and community partners. • Completea draft of a One Year Action Plan for Partnerships that can be evaluated and improvedeach year.
