  5. Tributaries of Colorado river • Colorado has tributaries form the east ad west of the United States. • The Virgin, Kanab, Paria, Escalante, Dirty Devil and Green rivers from the west. • The Little Colorado, San Juan, Dolores and Gunnison from the east.

  6. Course trajectory • Colorado and its tributaries flows through the Great Basin, Sonoran (eastern side) and the Mojave (western side) desert. • Born about 10 000 feet in the Rocky Mountains and flows about 1, 470 mile South west to the Gulf of California ( the Sea of Cortez).
