  4. 1.- VideoAktiv Project Aims of VideoAktiv • a) extend the knowledge of the use of video in higher education through a series of workshops designed for university professors • b) disseminate via the internet the contents and materials used in those workshops through the implementation of virtual workshops • c) the creation of a community of practicing academicians using video in their courses

  6. 2.- Face to Face Workshops Criteria of Face to Face’s Design • a) Value: to be useful and have real impact in the academic function of the faculty • b) Effectiveness: implemented in modular form where each module had its set of goals and evaluation • c) Video as a teaching tool: the materials were implemented using video/multimedia • d) Web Access: a special website includes all the academic and laboratory materials and the materials created by the participants

  7. 2.- Face to Face Workshops Description • Title: “ Use and Design Video/Multimedia in Higher Education” • Duration: 2 days -10 hours (5 hours each day) • Activities • a) series of video modules (with accompanying documentation) • b) series of guided-practice laboratories (with accompanying video tutoring modules and documentation) • c) series of free-design laboratories (with accompanying video tutoring modules and documentation)
