Why Community-Build? Community-build refers to a proactive process in which community members join forces to organize and implement projects of benefit to their own community.

Think ABCD! • Asset-Based Community Development • (ABCD) is built upon: • A community’s past successes • The recognition of social capital as an asset • A participatory approach to development • Efforts to strengthen civil society
