  4. Chapter 33 • God sends Moses to the promise land but he says that he will not go. So the people mourned why is that? • Moses pitches a tent, here he speaks to God face to face as a friend vs 11 • Moses inquires of the Lord vs 12-18 • God protects Moses but gives him a unique experience

  5. Chapter 34 • The Lord re-makes the tablet. Moses must follow God’s instruction vs 1-3 • God reveals his name vs 5-7 • Moses asks for forgiveness vs 9 • God renews his covenant and so doing Separates Israel for himself vs10-28 • The ten Commandments • Moses’ Appearance after speaking/being in God’s Presence
