The Soviet Union • 1918 Bolsheviks win the Civil War and institute War Communism • 1921 Lenin announced his New Economic Policy • 1922 Socialist State is formed, the United Soviet Socialist Republic and it’s constitution; Lenin suffers two heart attacks • 1928 Stalin Announced the end of the NEP and the beginning of the Five Year Plans.
