State Objectives Early Learning Language and Literacy CSO’s LL 1.2 Communicates needs and wants through a variety of verbal and symbolic forms. LL2.5 Knows that letters of the alphabet are a special category of visual graphics that can be individually named. LL4.1 Progresses from using scribble shapes or pictures to represent ideas, to using letter-like symbols or invented spelling, to copying or writing familiar words such as his/her own name LL 4.5 Uses a variety of writing tools and materials, such as pencils, crayons and computers. 21st Century Learning and Technology CSO’s 21 C.O.PK-2.3.LS1 Student manages negative emotions, aligns his/her goals to the goals of others, and works cooperatively and productively with others in small groups. 21 C.O.PK-2.3.LS4 Student knows the difference between right and wrong, is accepting of others in work and play groups, and shows regard for peers and adults within the school by keeping work, play and public areas clean and organized. 21C.O.PK-2.1.TT1 Student uses keyboard and mouse to enter name and User ID, types sentences and follows on-screen prompts to successfully operate computers. Student uses printers, audiotapes, and other technologies. Student names common technologies (e.g., CD player, DVD player, video camera, cell phone).
