  6. Nurses know the flexible parts are joints called moving • … joints allow your elbows, knees and ankles to bend • …the school nurse sees a lot of knees

  7. Question #3 How many times does your heart beat per minute? • 2-4times • 50-100times • 700-800times

  8. Nurses know that a normal heart beats 50-100 times • … Babies usually have faster heart rates than adults • The heart is one of the strongest muscles you have

  10. Nurses know that it’s the digestive system • …your stomach produces about 2 liters of acid that helps digest food each day

  12. Nurses know that it’s the brain • …your spinal cord extends from your brain down the length of your back • …if you run your fingers down the center of your back, you can feel the bones that protect the spinal cord • …many nerves branch off from the spinal cord to every part of your body
