REASONS BEHIND SUCCESS • The Group was strengthened through various capacity building programs. • The Groups are involved in regular saving, meeting and interloaning. • The coordination between the group members is high. • They have faith on the project and the NGO. • Records are maintained up to the mark by CIG. • Market is available for them

  15. LESSONS • The Project duration is short because group strengthening process takes time. • The frequent changes in policies retards the progress. • The remuneration to the NGO should be high so that they can meet all the expences. • The infrastructure & HR Personnel of DPMU and availability of the fund is key for the success.

  16. WHAT NEXT • CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT APPROACH • RURAL HAATS TO PROVIDE MARKET • BANK CREDIT LINKAGE TO AVAIL WORKING CAPITAL • PREPERATION OF GROUPS ON Q&S STANDARDS, • COORDINATION AMONG ALL THE STAKEHOLDERS ON CLARITY OF ISSUES.
