Climate The coastal regions of Norway enjoy a mild, temperate climate which is attributed to the North Atlantic Current, which is a branch of the Gulf Stream that crosses the Atlantic from the Caribbean Sea. Norway's coast has a marine climate with less temperature difference between summer and winter than inland areas. Snow rarely falls along the coast.
