  2. Diamond is the hardest substance available on the earth. It is an allotrope of carbon atoms, which has crystal appearance but it is very hard that it can be neither be broken nor beaten up to form a certain design. Diamonds are used for many purposes such as for jewel, industry and surgical field due to its advantageous features.  When diamonds are mined, based on their color, clarity and carat weight only 20% of it is selected for becoming gemstone and remaining 80% of the remaining is used for Industrial purposes. Diamonds, which were used in various industrial purposes, are known as Industrial Diamonds. The main use of diamond is to cut diamond itself, if anything can cut the diamond and help to give desired shape, it is diamond only. The industrial diamonds are popularly used for cutting, grinding, drilling and polishing. In the medical field with the help of diamond many critical and delicate surgeries can be done and can also be used to cure cancer. Many industrial diamonds are used for various industrial purposes, such as Diamond powder, Diamond Cutting tools, Diamond dressing. Due to their unique feature, these industrial diamonds can be used to perform many commercial activities successfully.

Diamond Powderis a finely granulated and small irregular particle of diamonds, which is used as drill bits, abrasives and mixing agent with metal for making alloys.  As abrasives it’s used to rub materials such as, wood, metal etc from which some layers can be rubbed off that gives smooth and shinier texture to the material. When the drilling tools where prepared, diamond powder is added to it so that the tool can become strong and can be able to drill any kind of surface effectively and efficiently. When this diamond powder is mixed with other metal, then the resultant alloy metal gets its toughness and hardness.

  4. Diamond Cutting Toolsis a tool that is used to cut the diamond into the desired shape, size and design effectively and efficiently. As diamonds are hardest material on the earth, it cannot be cut simply. Only diamond can cut diamond.  This is popularly used in the jewels industry, where raw and unshaped diamonds are cut and given shape to make it the unique designed ornaments.
